The Welforward Team is delighted to announce that its application under the government's 'Supporting Communities in Neighbourhood Planning' scheme has been successful.

We have received two awards, both administered by Locality, a charity at arms-length from government.

The first award is of over £4000 mainly to support community engagement and consultation on our developing Neighbourhood Plan.
The second award is for professional support from a nominated member of the Royal Town Planning Institute who will support and guide the development of Welford's Plan.

The two awards should help both to speed the development and optimise the scope of the Plan.
